In 1994 one of my sons purchased a Boston condominium requiring some legitimate restoration. We combined his notion of home and my professional expertise. After limited wall bashing, new floors and moldings, a new kitchen and many too many hours behind paint brush and roller, the result was appropriately comfortable.

He enjoyed the space. He enjoyed watching his friends react to the space. Often they would say, "I wish I could afford your Mother". That statement was the seed, from which an interior design firm called Down to the Wire, Inc. is growing and developing daily.

Beginning with my first interior design job in 1963, I learned to treasure the value of experience. The intent of Down to the Wire, Inc. is to continue to share interior design knowledge, through the facilities of this website, with as many as possible as honestly as possible.

The 45 years professional experience of our principal interior designer is based upon clever ideas and creative energy. Most significantly success is the result of an unabashed and sincere joy in helping others. To see clients enjoy comfortable happiness at home is our greatest goal.

The legacy must move forward. The energy behind the attitude must be positive.
