Trend or Style? Which shall it be?

Everyone is temporarily captivated when suddenly a flamboyant announcer appears declaring the formula for a new trend. Very quickly the mass market latches on to this new notion. Before we know it every store sells the same furniture in the same color combinations and upholstered with similar fabrics, organizes these items in the same configuration and stages it against the same color walls. A new trend is now enjoying the spotlight as it rumbles full throttle down the interior design track.

Following a predetermined formula never creates satisfying design. Suddenly, everything changes. Without warning, the whole production looks awkward, contrived and immediately fades from sight. Any trend is truly a temporary infatuation.
